Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Composite Material of Kingfa Carbon Fiber Materials Dvpt. Co., Ltd. Won the 25th "China Composites Expo -JEC" Innovative Product Award

On September 3, 2019, the 25th China Composites Expo commenced in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. With the authoritative evaluation of professional judges, the continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material of Kingfa Carbon Fiber Materials Dvpt. Co., Ltd. stood out from more than dozens of products that entered the competition, and won the 25th "China Composites Expo -JEC" Innovative Product Award, and participated in the grand award ceremony.

The new continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite KingPly™, is developed in cooperation with Brose, the German auto parts supplier. The new door module system developed with this composite material has significant weight reduction effect, and does not reduce any other performance requirements. More functions are designed and integrated into the door substrate, effectively reducing the assembly cost. Compared with the traditional steel door substrate, the new composite door substrate successfully reduces the vehicle weight of by more than 5kg in Ford Focus. The new composite materials have achieved a good balance among mass production, cost control and technical indexes.
