Kingfa signs MoU with TÜV Rheinland, for establishing a joint working group of sustainable development

Kingfa Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd (Kingfa) signed a MoU with TÜV Rheinland Greater China (TÜV Rheinland), an internationally renowned independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization, on August 29. Both sides have agreed to establish a joint working group on integrated solutions for sustainable development (“working group” for short). Participants of the signing ceremony were Dai Fuqian, Vice General Manager of Kingfa Group and General Manager of South China Company, Nie Delin, Vice General Manager of Kingfa Group and General Manager of Kingfa USA, and Fang Weimin, Vice President of TÜV Rheinland Greater China Systems.

According to the MoU, taking into account the material application in the toy industry and the ecological design requirements for sustainable products, both parties will make use of their respective strengths to jointly build a comprehensive solution platform for low-carbon services, providing customised consultancy services including low-carbon transition, decarbonisation target setting and carbon neutral path planning, and thus contributing to the sustainable and high-quality development of the industry. With the establishment of a joint working group, Kingfa and TÜV Rheinland will conduct regular exchanges in domestic and overseas regulatory developments, sustainable industry practices, product design concepts and company management. In the future, both parties will work together to provide one-stop integrated solutions for sustainable development, including green and low-carbon supply chain construction, operation optimization and strategic planning for enterprise development.

Kingfa has a long cooperation history with TÜV Rheinland. In 2021, TÜV Rheinland issued its first Ocean Bound Plastic Certification to Kingfa, which is a milestone in the Kingfa’s sustainable development. The signing of the MOU will effectively promote the cooperation between the two sides and facilitate the whole industry to achieve low-carbon transformation.
